Meet Maria – Your Go-To for Natural Skincare in a Holistic Setting

Hi, I’m Maria – a facialist originally from Sweden with a lifelong passion for natural skincare. My journey into the world of holistic beauty began long before I started offering professional treatments, but it was in 2020 that I officially began doing facials, turning my interest into something I could share with others.

Since July 2023, I’ve been based at the beautiful Holistic House, where I offer calming, skin-loving treatments using only the purest products. Every product I use is 100% natural, vegan, cruelty-free, and freshly made in the UK. I believe in treating skin gently, thoughtfully, and holistically – and that starts with what we put on it.

One of the core skincare ranges I use in my treatments is Tropic Skincare – a brand I trust for their commitment to clean, ethical beauty. Their products are packed with fresh, nutrient-rich ingredients inspired by tropical botanicals. From their soothing cleansers to their radiance-boosting masks and hydrating serums, Tropic’s formulations are designed to support all skin types, especially sensitive and rosacea-prone skin like mine.

As someone who has rosacea myself, I understand how sensitive and unpredictable skin can be. That’s why I’m especially passionate about helping people manage their skin conditions and feel confident in their skin again. I create a safe, nurturing space where your skin’s unique needs are understood and supported.

I currently offer two types of facials every Thursday and Friday:

Express Facial – £20
A 20-minute skin refresh that’s perfect for a lunch break or before a night out. Ideal for a quick glow or a pick-me-up using gentle, effective Tropic products tailored to your skin on the day.

Bespoke Facial – £50
A 60-minute deeply personalised facial using a custom selection of Tropic products, designed entirely around your skin’s needs. Whether you’re dealing with sensitivity, breakouts, dryness, or just need a reset – this treatment is created just for you.
